We can say that it is perhaps the most unique psychotherapy method in recent years. It is applied using effective metaphors to focus on the acceptance of the memories and emotions we experience in our lives. The method progresses by working on foundations such as cognitive flexibility, avoidance of emotions, and awareness of values. This approach does not accept the idea that there is a broken mental part in a person; instead, it teaches how everything—every emotion, every thought—can be compassionately accepted by the client.
